This guy is ready and waiting for the parade!
He is made of cotton batting, painted and aged.
Stitched nose and mouth, seed bead eyes, sisal
whiskers, a scrap of old blue calico for a scarf and
a wool felt crown. He is holding a hand painted flag
in one hand and some glittery stars in the other.
All is nestled in a tiny patriotic basket and stuffed
with spanish moss.
It is embellished with a handmade
Americana rosette made of blue crepe paper with a
paper medallion that reads
FREEDOM.
